EditPad Lite is a general-purpose text editor that works with Windows 95, NT4, 98, 2000 and ME. It is designed to be small and compact, yet offer all the functionality you expect from a basic text editor. Our Review: Very similar to Notepad on Windows, with some extras. Allows you to change the width and height of characters, and a date-pasting button is available on the toolbar. A handy program but not much better than Notepad, ie it's a step up from Notepad. A system tray icon stays on for easy and fast access to EditPad. Programmers may find it very handy to use as you can switch between open programs by clicking on their tabs and not having to organise 2 windows. It also has a revert to file option which discards all changes back to when it was originally opened. Worth a look if you're tired of Notepad. Supports syntax coloring for html, java, c++, sql, and pascal.
