TextPad is designed to provide the power and functionality to satisfy the most demanding text editing requirements. The 32-bit edition can edit files up to the limits of virtual memory, and will work with MS Windows™ 9x, Windows NT and Windows 2000. Our Review:TextPad is an excellent text editor, definitely on a par with Notepad, preferred in fact by many users. It has many features that your Notepad does not, including the ability to join lines of a text file, the Windows Explorer-like interface (with directory tree and ANSI character listing down the left of the screen), and most importantly the ability to record macros. Amazingly comprehensive help documentation is provided, including an excellent tutorial in every aspect of the program. On top of this, Textpad includes a great spellchecker. Definitely worth a good look. |
