DevPortal is the definitive change exploration tool for C and C++. It saves you time; whether you need to hunt a build-breaker in 4 million lines of code, compare two versions of a product suite, or just review your own code before a check-in. It provides high level summaries of changes, allows you to track changes over time, and generates reports. It includes a catalog to help you understand changes in unfamiliar code. DevPortal can aggregate changes by directory, highlight interface changes, and filter comment differences. The catalog features module, class and routine summaries, comment extraction, LOC counts and a source viewer. Version 1.1 of DevPortal adds: - Snapshot enhancements which allow the user to save the full contents of the snapshot for later comparison and restoration. - A command line interface is provided which allows you to incorporate analysis and snapshot operations into a normal build. - Several improvements in the user interface, including easier source navigation and more detail information on class definitions.
