A server-side gateway that can process SQL queries, updates and deletes to any ODBC compatible database. Users simply embed SQL queries in standard HTML documents, along with special HotSQL macros. The software can extract data from HTML forms for use in database inserts, queries, etc. It can also generate dynamic HTML output for custom reporting and other applications. Ideal for company intranets. Our Review:This program processes SQL commands on a server, which enables you to create web-databases without having to learn ASP etc... The documentation is very good, walking you through the installation, use, and registration steps of the process very well. It also includes a comprehensive user manual in HTML format. The software is worth using if you need an alternative to conventional server side SQL accessing gateways. |
