Automatic application setup system: the output consists of just one EXE-file, which contains all necessary distribution data. Uses not only ZIP, but also the compression system of the well-known archiver RAR. Supports several languages in the created distribution kits. The installation script can depend on the chosen language. The installation script can be adjusted depending on the Windows platform. Can make changes in the registry, and system INI-files, create shortcuts, register OLE/ActiveX servers, fonts. Works with shared files. Setting password on the distribution kit is possible. Our Review: Don't let the poor English in the documentation blind you from seeing the actual power of this application. Ghost Installer is just as powerful as the popular WISE installer, yet it's free! Its major drawback is a lack of GUI interface when creating the install program (the actual install files that are created use the GUI though) but if you're comfortable with that, then Ghost Installer is a must.
