Proc-BlasterTM is a Rapid Application Development Data Access tool for use by SQL, Visual Basic, ASP and/or Microsoft® Office/VBA developers who use Microsoft® SQL Server© or Sybase as their Database. Proc-Blaster's primary purpose is to rapidly create stored procedures scripts. Proc-BlasterTM reads each table, determines datatypes, keys, autonumbers etc. and creates the stored procedure accordingly. In addition to creating the actual proc, Proc-BlasterTM scripts the VB, VBA or VBScript (ASP) code to interface with the proc (pass it data and execute it) using ADO command objects, one of the most powerful but most incompletely and inaccurrately documented data access methods. Proc-BlasterTM offers a variety of options to the user, including VB and VBScript (ASP) variants of code, object naming preferences, ability to decide VB variable typing, etc. Our Review: Database development tool for SQL, Visual Basic, Sybase or others. Before running the application, connection to a database with supported ODBC is required. Proc-Blaster efficiently facilitates the writing of scripts which will generate ASP or VB code for passing parameters and data to the procedures. These procedures will then be executed against the database. The user interface is simple and intuitive and it helps to create sophisticated DB applications easily and fast.
