JVision creates UML object diagrams from java code. Easy forward engineering allows the creation of classes, variables and methods in a JVISION diagram painter, which will then generate code templates. Thus, even a non-programmer can construct an object model that will generate templates for the Java programmer. Documentation using JVISION diagrams is always up to date and available to anyone with a web browser when using "Documentor" to generate an instant web site. Simplifies the reuse of existing classes through the automatic generation of UML diagrams, blueprints which aid understanding code from a shared repository. Our Review: JVision features a graphical environment for object-oriented design in UML for the Java programming language. It is very easy to import Java class and to see its UML representation. Additional classes can also be imported, connected and code generated. Very interesting is the possibility to revert and edit the java code from class files. This easy-to-use well featured software might be used on small and middle sized Java projects or by students as a cheaper alternative to Rational Rose.
