Active Sound Tips is an ActiveX control developed by MultiMedia Soft that makes easy to add a new multimedia capability to applications written with the most diffused development environments that accept ActiveX controls such as Visual Basic or Visual C++. Windows users and programmers should be already familiar with the use of tool tips: now, with the Active Sound Tips control, through a set of intuitive-named methods, you can improve your applications user interface adding the possibility to play a WAV sound every time the mouse enters the surface of a control or of an area inside a dialog or form. Our Review: If you use Visual Basic or Visual C++ then you should definitely take a look at this. The demo form does not let you actually use the function in your compiler but rather shows you a program written with the add-on. It demonstrates that .WAV files can be played when a user puts the mouse pointer over a defined area or object. Active Sound Tips is quite impressive and does warrant a look at.
