CyberMatrix Class Scheduler is an easy to use single or multi-user application for scheduling student's classes. The software is ideal for schools and other institutions that need to quickly schedule classes. Features: Searching A search feature allows for finding all students that take a particular class or that share a common classification, such as band students. Security When security is enabled students may book their own classes without being able to change the classes of other students. Filters The schedule view may be filtered by class, student, instructor and by classroom. Schedule Report A schedule report may be viewed for any schedule as it appears on the screen. Multi-Site Capability If your school has different sites which are accessible through your network you can make use of the multi-site option. This allows a user to "open" up a site. The user can then edit schedules at that site. Customizable Time Period Schedule classes on the hour, half-hour or any other hourly fraction. Multi-Language Support Users from non-English speaking countries may easily convert the software's text into their own language's equivalents Our Review: Scheduling classes is no easy feat, attempting to co-ordinate a timetable students, classes, teachers and rooms without any clashes is complicated to say the least. Cybermatrix Class Scheduler tries, as many have before, to make this task easier. While it is unlikely that Class Scheduler will come up with the perfect solution, it sure tries hard. The interface is dominated by the schedule grid, but most of your time will be spent with the 'data manager' which allows you to enter and edit the necessary data relating to classes, buildings, students and teachers. The filter option can then quickly provide a schedule for each. It is difficult to assess the true worth of Class Scheduler in a short time, however with powerful features, an intuitive interface, some good help and a lenghty trial period it is definitely well worth a look.
