The GaLa Reinforcement's main purpose is to analyze reinforced concrete sections of arbitrary geometry and steel reinforcement. GaLa Reinforcement can calculate necessary reinforcement, section ratios, generate Safety charts (failure surfaces), calculate strains, stresses, curvatures and stifnesses (order II, with creeping) and crack widths for any reinforced concrete cross - section. Supported concrete design codes: Eurocode 2 , ACI 318 , CSA A23.3, BS 8110, BDS Our Review:This application could prove very useful to both architects and engineers. (The rest of you go look for some games to download.) GaLa Reinforcement has a nice, tab-driven interface, a built-in calculator, and a comprehensive help file to get you started. Cool. |
