Notes in Space is a free game that makes it easy to learn and remember what shape of note corresponds to what relative duration (whole, half, quarter) as well as the ratio of any note duration to any other (1 whole note = 2 half notes; 1 half note = 2 quarter notes; 1 whole note = 4 quarter notes) .
Our Review: Teaches note values by playing a game. Similar to Happy Note! Treble and Bass Clef, except you shoot notes according to value (not pitch). This is a very simple arcade game that will help young children learn the most rudimentary skills of sheet music reading. It is easy to play, and little minds will easily grasp the concepts. This is quite good entertainmant/education software for those who would like to help their children with musical orientation.
