WnGutenbook is an easy way to select and download classic literature, in the form of etexts, from Project Gutenberg. Gutenbook is an app for downloading, and reading of etext books published electronically from the Project Gutenburg. I have ported it from GTK Perl to Tk/Perl, and linux qt/kde and windows mfc. Kgutenbook, and WnGutenBook were both inspired by gutenbook.pl Our Review:This is one of the most amazing programs ever! It is the windows browser for Project Gutenberg, the world's finest literature, all copied down in painstaking detail in ASCII format and available free to whoever wants them. WnGutenbook is a top quality, easy to use windows browser for Project Gutenburg - the only thing missing is a title search function. Every english student in the world should have this program! |
