SimSolar is a FUN-TO-USE solar system simulator. It is perfect for classroom or personal use. The positions of the sun, moon and planets are displayed for any date selected. Tilt and rotate the entire system to view from any vantage point. Set the system in motion and watch the planets move around their orbits. You can search for planetary alignments or see the phase of the moon for any selected date. Our Review:SimSolar is a simple but effective program that models planetary orbits. It can be used to show, quite accurately, the alignment of the planets at any particular date between 1915 and 2086. The user interface contains many customisable features, such as speed and diameter of planets, while still remaining user-friendly. Well documented in help files. |
