Word Translator for Windows is the bilingual, bi-directional word/phrase dictionary and translation program used all over the world for teaching, learning and working with languages. With it, you can quickly and easily translate individual words and phrases or even complete documents word-by-word and phrase-by-phrase from English to another language or from another language to English. LanguageTutor will help you learn new foreign words and phrases and hear their pronunciation by automatically accessing the Word Translator dictionary and speech files. Our Review: This uses Word Translator 98, and is the trial for the Hungarian - English dictionary. The price given is for the Hungarian - English 3 dictionary, which has 124 000 entries. It contains 3 separate programs: * Code Page Text Converter - This takes ASCII or ANSI files and translates them. * Language Tutor - Basically a tutor in the language. You can have it select random words, and then you type the translation, or select the correct word from a list. It can also store a sound file of the correct pronunciation. * Word Translator - at the most basic level, you type in your word, and it will translate it for you. It also has a help file on grammar. * OVERALL - A very useful program. It would have been good if they could integrate all the different modules of the package into one program, rather than having to load them up separately. The interface looks a little dated, it is plain and basic, but it certainly does the job of translating between Hungarian and English VERY well!
