Keeping track of which students are in what modules can be an exasperating experience. It can be, that is, if you don’t have Carousel Plus. Applied Technologies is proud to present Carousel Plus, a new program based on an old idea to have a hassle-free way of creating a schedule for a rotational lab using the computer. Until now, computer-based scheduling programs forced you to do a schedule their way. Carousel Plus finally places the control back where it belongs with you, the instructor. Our Review: Carousel is an extensive management package for dealing with students, the course, tests, reports, schedules, grades, labs - everything a teacher could need. The interface is nice and functional, with simple icons sending the user to the many features, although the help file comes in acrobat form which is always a hassle. While Carousel is an extremely good at what it does, ultimately, the price tag will probably make the most difference. Which makes this 30-use trial essential in letting you know if it fits your needs well enough to cough up the $500. Recommended.
