ActiveBook-2000 is an education/entertainment software for book editing and reading using text-to-speech technology. Our Review:An interesting tool that allows you to create talking books for children. ActiveBook uses text-to-talk technology that, while still in a relatively primative stage, is more than adequate for making talking children's books. Simply type in the text you desire, add a picture or two, and you have a talking book. You can set it up to display pages to flick through, and there are a variety of different voice types you can use (as well as sound bites). Could also be useful in creating audio based tutorials for studies. |
