"HIV Educator" is a source of accurate information on HIV and AIDS, to be used to educate people on the virus and the disease. It is based on information given by the American Red Cross (last updated June 1998) and the US Centers for Disease Control. The author of this software became a certified Red Cross HIV/AIDS Educator in July 1996.
Our Review: HIV Educator is essentially a series of pre-determined questions and answers concerning HIV and AIDS. The program allows you to select a question (of 96 possible questions) and then select the 'Go to answer' button, which brings up a window telling you the answer to the question. While the questions are already set out for you, there are quite a variety of them, and so most questions the average user would have concerning HIV and AIDS would probably be covered here. This would be a great resource for school students doing a study on HIV or AIDS, or even someone who is just curious about the topic.
