Tsarevna is an adventure game that takes you into a medieval Russian city. You control a modern American, and your quest is to win the hand in marriage of a beautiful Russian princess. The city is full of funny people, some of them are friendly, but others may be dangerous. Before you reach your objective you'll have to learn how to deal with Asian officials, to explore a lot of interesting places and even meet the bear. Use all your imagination to overcome the difficulties, act by service, flattery or even brute force and you'll win!
Other features of the game include MIDI music, ability to save the game and two-language interface (English and Russian). In an unregistered version some areas are inaccessible.
Our Review: Does anyone remember the King's Quest series? Well Tsarevna - A Medieval Russia Quest is a nice looking point-and-click adventure game in a similar vein that takes you through Russia on a quest to marry the Tsarevna. While there aren't any 3D polygons to be seen, the graphics are still nice and brought back a wave of nostalgia among us. The game involves quite a bit of talking and investigating, as well as some quick thinking. A good game for young and old, with quite a decent difficulty level (we found ourselves constantly ending up on a whipping block). Considering the relatively small size of the download, this is a must have.
