Our Review: Odd. This game goes far beyond the normal boundries of odd. This game goes beyond Kurushi odd, Parappa the Rapper odd and even Blair Witch Volume 2 odd. You are Alice, from Alice in Wonderland of course, and you have been summoned back to Wonderland. You're all grown up now, and a little insane, but thats OK, because Wonderland is a little insane too. Well, a lot insane actually, and it's up to you to put things right by dealing to the evil Queen of Hearts. American McGee's Alice(TM) is platformer, when you get right down to it, like Rune, but with a Quake 3 engine and a healthy dose of the surreal. The jumping is a little difficult to control and the fighting takes a little bit of getting used to. The difficulty curve isn't particularily hard and lets you get quite a way into the game before you come up against any real opposition. The graphics are quite amazing and the sound & music are suitably eerie. Well worth a download!
