The mother of all Pac-Man clones...well, maybe... 640x480 resolution. Vertical and horizontal scrolling mazes . Pov-Ray rendered graphics. Five different Chompsters. Six ghosts + four other enemies + a final boss (a Pac-Man clone doesn't need a bazillion enemies, okay?). 60 mazes + secret bonus mazes. Between level map ala Donkey Kong Country. Powerups, powerdowns, and bonus point prizes. Ghost Radar, which really helps in the big mazes. Our Review: Chompster does a superb job of cloning PacMan. While the pseudo-3D graphics look great they ensure the look and feel of PacMan is still intact. As well as the retro-style graphics, the addictive gameplay is still there, although Chompsters goes even further offering a huge array of levels and features including bombs and a radar to help you on the mazes that extend larger than the screen. Other nice touches include the option to choose from 5 different PacPeople to play with ensuring that everyone is happy and a between-level map gives it a more adventure-style feel. It seems that the Pac is back (once again), and better than ever - a must download.
