Attackers are everywhere! You're the world's last hope with a dual mission - blast the bad guys and rescue the last of human kind. Inspired by the classic arcade game Defender, 3D Missile Madness features 20 levels of frantic action. Blast your enemies and travel through portals and gates to different worlds - all the time remembering to rescue your friends. Enjoy space arcade action at its finest in 3D, with original music. It's side-scrolling, space shooting action at its best! Our Review: I enjoy a good side-scrollig shoot'em up - and for this reason 3D Missile Madness is enjoyable; but not flawlessly. The graphics and sound are great, and there's a little more scope for movement in that movement can be done in and out of the screen as well, but the game just wasn't long lasting enough. A single hit from an enemy or a crash into a solid object brought your ship out of the sky - fair enough except that the width of the gameplay window isn't wide enough to foresee any kind of danger until it's right upon you. This makes the game somewhat stiffling to play since you have to refrain from zipping around the screen - resorting instead to a slow hunters crawl. Otherwise very playable - the 3D rendering of your ship turning is particularly nice.
