Break the blocks with this highly imaginative, challenging game! The eye-popping graphics, impressive music, themed levels and superb gameplay quickly make you forget you are playing an arcade-style game born from the classic breakout genre. The object of 1st Go Warkanoid is to destroy all the bricks on the screen by hitting them with a bouncing ball. Some of the bricks will give you funny power-ups. The game is improved with a number of Internet-related functions such as WorldWide Hall Of Fame. Our Review: Arkanoid, due to it's addictive gameplay, is up there with Tetris as the most popular puzzle-game style. It is therefore a nice surprise when a clone comes around that has made a true effort to lift itself above the rest. Warkanoid II is one such clone. The basic gameplay of bouncing balls and destroying bricks is present, but the lush Rainforest graphics and sounds, complete with large colourful animated insects and plants really add to the game. Not only do these creatures get in your way, but they can help you out - the amount of power-ups and special features on offer is fantastic. It may appear a little sluggish at first, but when things begin to get hectic you'll be glad to have a little extra time to think. Warkanoid is a beautiful creation, and a worthy addition to any gamer's collection.
