Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns is a real-time fantasy strategy game for up to 8 players. Set in the mystical world of Khaldun, players take on the role of a Kohan, a race of immortals. They were once the ruling power of the world, but have had their culture and society destroyed by a series of massive cataclysms. Their immortal nature prevents them from an eternal death though, and they have begun to resurface. The player must come to grips with their lost glory, their current hardship, and their imminent destiny. It is the goal of the players to solve the riddle of their race’s destruction and return them to their former glory.
Our Review: Joy! For those of you out there that love Hero's of Might & Magic then you'll love Kohan. Apparently back in the good old days the Kohan were a race of benevolent immortals that ruled in peace et al. but things went bad and now there are only a few loners left. In an interesting mix of Civilisation and Hero's of M & M 3 you have to build cities and produce armys led by heroes and basically trade and fight your way to world domination. The graphics are luurvely and feature heaps of cute little animations. The sound is nice with lots of suitable 'urghs' and 'arghs' from the bad guys and suitably poncy quips from your hero. Unfortunately they sound _every_ single time you click, which gets very annoying (when will developers learn). Anyway, this game is really really good and I can see myself losing a _lot_ of time to it. Great!
