Three unique races--the technologically advanced Meccaryns, the ethereal and magical Sea Reapers, and the ferocious Giant Kabuto--battle for control of a beautiful island! Hilarity ensues, and they soon find out...One island isn't big enough for the 3 of them!! Our Review: *Sigh* Some days I really love my job. The day that I got to review this demo is one of them. Even before I got to actually start playing this I was entranced. The graphics are jaw-droppingly beautiful, (that is if you have a Geforce 2 or 3) and the sound is soothingly nice. But what really hooked me was the crazy english 'shine y' boots guv'nr' accents of the Meccaryn's that you get to control, not to mention the slightly uppercrust Timmy... The demo comes with a few missions which basically involve rescuing various family members. But thats not important, what is important is the ludicrous amounts of fun you can have flying around the levels (Meccaryns have Jetpacks), shooting rippers, creeping around in bushes, getting eaten alive by vicious beasts and generally exploring the amazing level (a big island). This could quite easily be my PC game of the year. Too much fun!
