From its humble beginnings as Quake, the quake series has progressed through various mission packs, sequels and additions to become one of the biggest gaming enterprises in the world. Quake 3 is the very latest incarnation of quake. With a new graphics engine and gaming solely designed around multiplayer gaming, Quake 3 is simply staggering. You will need a pretty new machine to play this game at the level it was meant to be played at (P2 450+, 8mb graphics card at least). It will run on a P200 with a Voodoo 1, but only just..... There are a wealth of mods out there for this game and millions of websites devoted to it. Really, if you are even mildly interested in games then you must have this game.
