Framsticks is a three-dimensional life simulation project. Both physical structure of creatures and their control systems are evolved. Evolutionary algorithms are used with selection, crossovers and mutations. Finite elements method is used for simulation. Both spontaneous and directed evolutions are possible. You are welcome to try our program! It can be interesting for people working on evolutionary computation, neural nets, biology, robotics and simulation, virtual reality, graphics and art, and also for experimenters who would like to evolve their own artificial creatures and see them in a three-dimensional, virtual world. You can also manually design and test creatures. Our Review: This program could prove to be very rewarding and educational. This has been designed to simulate the evolution of life. It has brain functions, bodies, and hundreds of parameters that can all be defined by you. It is quite hard to use at first but once you come to grips with it you will not be able to put it down. This program really gives the brain a workout. Excellent.
