Oxide is a Classic Shoot'em up with vertical scrolling. Use the new experimental "Oxide" attack aircraft to defend the earth from the evil race of aliens determined to destroy it. There are new and exciting challenges in each level. Our Review: A very nice Raiden clone that plays quite well. Oxide is your typical scrolling space shooter, where you swerve from side to side and nail the baddie ships, while all along collecting power-ups and extra cash to buy new weapons at the end of the round. Although this is pixel-land graphics wise, the game still looks quite nice and has a real retro feel to it. Well worth a look if you ever enjoyed the old Raiden-style games. This game could is arguably a clone of the old DOS 'Raptor' game by Apogee.
