An adrenaline rush of real-time action and strategy, Ground Control is unlike any other RTS. As commander of the Crayven Corporation forces on Krig 7-B you'll fight your way through 30 visually stunning and frenetically paced missions. Proper selection of troops and equipment will be key to your success. Once you enter a battle there's no going back. With proper planning, cunning tactics and a little luck, you'll rid this world of your employer's enemies and reveal the secrets it hides. Our Review: An awesome real-time strategy game is Ground Force! Similar to Command and Conquer except in true 3D and with a different theme, this game is great fun. Commanding your troops to smash the enemy into smithereens is the general goal, but you can also have a lot of fun blowing up my own base when they didn't expect it. You can zoom right in and right out, and the level of detail is astounding, especially when you consider how far up you can zoom! Vehicles leave tire marks and throw up dust when on the move, and the explosion effects are something else. While there have been similar 3D RTS' released in the past few years, none we've seen so far are able to perform so smoothly and flawlessly as ground control, and even without a top-notch graphics card, the game seems to run perfectly. It does however require at least a pentium 333. Anyone into RTS' must try this puppy out!
