This demo contains a single player level from the Dark Ages portion of Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption. Our Review: Vampire: The Masquerade is one of the most provincial games released yet, based on the original roleplaying game. The gameplay is very easy (point and click) and using icons and quick keys for scrolls and spell-like "disciplines". Experience can be spent to upgrade skills and disciplines, so no two games are the same. The graphics are impeccable (on a good machine) and the plot is enveloping. This demo contains actual scenes from the first half of the full game, played in the Dark Ages time zone. Four characters are set up and ready for you to try out the game and features. Full-on roleplayers can download mods for the full game to alter features, add charactors, even fully deck out the game with all the clans, items, and proper disciplines from the tabletop game. Multiplayer (full game) is controlled by a Game Master, who sets up scenes, plays the villians, telling the story through the people the players meet. Easier to play than Baldur's Gate, more addictive than Quake, reminiscent of Diablo but with actual plot, and more fun than aggravated damage on a stick - this game is the game for any serious roleplayer.
