Ahoy mateys! LucasArts is mighty proud to present the Escape from Monkey Island demo. We've conjured up several different download options, enough to please even the most discriminating pirate. Take a good look at your choices, then download away and let the swashbuckling begin! Our Review: Argh, it's Monkey Island, Argh (thats a piratey argh by the way)... For many people, the Monkey Island games rate up there with Maniac Mansion and Zac Mc Kracken as founders of the Adventure game genre. In "Escape from Monkey Island", perhaps the final Monkey Island Game, Guybrush and Elaine (now married) return from thier honeymoon to find out that Elaine has been declared dead and the governors mansion is about to be destroyed. Your mission is to save the mansion, and get Elaine declared Un-Dead (not the flesh-eating kind). This new game is in glorious 3D with lots of the old characters from the first game returning (Carla the swordmistress and Otis the thief to name a few).
