For those of you that remember back to the days of VistaPro on the Amiga and want a step up, this is for you! While primarily being designed for GIS and map making etc. the Freeware version is more for people wanting to make pretty backdrops and nice views. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the whole Vista idea, basically fractals are used to generate colour coded height maps which are then converted into 3d scenes by then engine. GenesisII does all of this, but has advanced graphics feaures to make the scenes seem even more realistic. This program is fantastic but requires a lot of processor time for high quality scenes and may take quite a while to render complex landscapes. Otherwise very very good!
