ViewNameIt is an all purpose image viewer, file manager and file naming utility. Supported types are JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF (CCITT/G3/G4), TGA, PCX, BMP, WMF, EMF, and ICO. Slideshows are available in fullsize, stretch, and proportional (square screen). A unique use of thumbnail images for drag and drop allows easy reordering and renaming of image files for slideshow viewing. The thumbnail view is perfect for catalog printing of image galleries using WYSIWYG page setup, and can also be used for single image fullsize viewing using a double-click. Filenaming can of course be applied to a wide variety of filetypes besides images. The file management utilities are oriented to web site backup with extensive filtering for separating by directories (excluding "\thumbs") as well as by filetypes (images, text and multimedia). Multi-volume backup capability is included. Our Review: A combination of Explorer style file manager with effective thumbnail technology. Fairly versatile with a fairly good range of image file type capabilities, this program will cater to most of your cataloging requirements, although the slideshow available is not the best on the market. The interface takes a bit of getting used to and a tutorial would come in very handy - you'll spend a while with trial and error on this one and make good use of the Help file in accessing ViewNameIt's extensive capabilities
