GIF Movie Gear makes building GIF animations easy. The intuitive interface of this animator uses a filmstrip metaphor to show all the frames at once, and all aspects of the animation (transparency, timing, order, etc.) can be controlled using drag&drop and the toolbar. Useful features include palette reduction, inter-frame optimization, animation resizing, support for Photoshop PSD, JPEG, AVI, BMP, and GIF files, export to AVI, and generation of HTML code for putting the animating GIF on the Web. Our Review: GIF Movie Gear assists in GIF animation creation. Obviously you need the images file or previous animations to form the basis. After this, drag and drop ordering, on the fly end product review and one click optimization are a snap. Some things need tweaking, like the optimization is not always perfect, but the help file covers all potential hassles. Very good program for timing and finishing off animations.
