Mr. Multimedia 98 is a combined image viewer and media player that also comes with a powerful CD-audio player. The image viewer can display all the common file formats like BMP, JPEG, GIF and PCX, but also many others. The media player plays MIDI- and Wave-files and videoclips. Additional modules can be downloaded and installed to play even more formats. The CD-audio player has CDDB (CD DataBase) support which means that it can retrieve the disc title and track titles from a gigantic database on the Internet so that you won't have to enter all the titles yourself. Easy-to-use interface with many features and options. Built-in support for ZIP, HTML and MP3-files. Our Review: This is an interesting program for combing images into slideshows and then overlaying audio files. It supports both Mp3, and Wav and is fairly easy to use. It also has comprehensive help files to assist the user. Well designed, we thought.
