At its most basic level, you can use Icon Explorer by navigating to the folder containing the icons you want, tick the ones you want to get then click on the Save button at the bottom of the window. Displays the number of files and icons being displayed Save multiple icons at once Save as bitmaps or icons Change the background colour used when saving bitmaps Copy individual images to the clipboard Set icons to be used for My Computer, Network Neighborhood and the Recycle Bin
Our Review: Icon Explorer is a very simple and yet powerful icon viewer and saver. It has a directory tree on the left and to the right are the icons themselves. Any icons can be extracted from EXEs and DLLs and ICLs, and saved as either BMP or ICO icon files. Very quick and useful.
