Icon Library
Icon Library is a collection of more than 10,000 icons (5,400 in the un-registered version) which have been stored in more than 150 different categories. The format of all these icons are 32x32 pixels using 16 colors. Much work has gone into sorting and classifying the icons in this collection. There are very few duplicated icons except on the very rare occasion where an icon really must be in more that one category. The icons are stored as larger library files which use much less disk space than individual icons. The Icon Viewer included with the collection has these major features - User definable menus and descriptions - Cascading menus simplify finding icons - Icon animation available within the viewer program - Ability to change background color - The user can extract icons from the library as an ICO file - Full online help Our Review: Icon Library is a browser with hundreds of icons. Many icons are familiar, inculded some from older applications and games. The icons are all 16 colors, and most 'look WIN3.1 old'. There is a huge variety, and is fairly simple to save the ICO file, although again the Save function behaves like a WIN3.1 window.
