xReminder Pro is an elegant-looking event-based personal information manager that can help you remember birthdays, holidays and other special events. It starts automatically with Windows and minimizes to the system tray from which you can create new reminders in a few mouse clicks. You can create your own event types with different fonts, colors, icons, etc. The program provides very flexible recurrence patterns for almost any reminder type and calculates the age of yearly events. It contains fully customizable Clock and supports Swatch Internet Time. The program also has some useful features like countdown and stopwatch timers. Other options include: import-export of data in native and commonly used file formats, popup calendar that easy to access from clock or from the system tray, print preview, and more! Our Review: xReminder Pro a very extensive planner program in a similar vein to the likes of Microsoft Outlook. This desktop planner features a calendar where you can set appointments and schedules by event such as birthdays, TV shows, internet events, etc. You can even setup your own customised event. Different events have different appearances (a good visual feature) and xReminder supports recurrences as well for birthdays, etc. xReminder sits nicely on your system tray and most things can be accessed with the right-click menu...including a stopwatch and countdown timer. Very attractive. There is even a small toolbar that shows the time and the month when clicked. Latest release includes wakeup feature for "snoozed" events. Well-designed and developed - well worth a look for anyone hunting for a PC based organiser.
