Desktop Goodies is six handy utilities in one, accessed from an icon in the system tray. A popup Calendar. Conversion Tables, which converts most common metric and standard measurements. CountDown timers. 6 different types of timers to count the time up or down. Includes the popular Full Screen CountDown for sporting and classroom events and the Date CountDown, for timing dates and times in the future. Reminders, which notifies you of upcoming events for the next 16 days. Startup List will track the date and time that your computer starts up. Sticky Notes, which provides a ten-page scratch pad to quickly jot down notes, ideas and messages. Also, add 5 of the favorite programs to the desktop Goodies menu for one-click access. Our Review: A fairly basic Outlook derivative with some nice ideas but some poor execution. The toolbars are clumsy and helpfiles sometimes inaccessable but the post-it notes function is very cute. The bugs may be sorted in the registered edition but it'll be $19.95 to find out.
