Our Review: Active Desktop Calendar is an innovative, functional and easy-to-use calendar program which sits on your system tray while displaying your tasks, notes and days of the week as a desktop background. Adding and editing your daily notes and tasks, as well as setting alarms is extremely simple to do, and with active desktop running it's simply a matter of one mouse click. While Active Desktop Calendar doesn't have the high degree of flexibility and sheer number of features other calendar applications like to boast about, it's clever design (having everything on screen all the time is incredibly convenient) and ease of use make it a great choice for all but the most obsessively organised users.
