Distant Suns 4 is a freeware version of the desktop astronomy package, Distant Suns. Containing a database of over 20,000 stars it will show you the evening sky from most any date in history, and any location on Earth or in the solar-system. In conjunction with the SETI@Home group (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/), Distant Suns 4 has been enhanced to read SETI data files and show the SETI@Home users what part of the sky the are currently analyzing for signals from ET. Our Review: Wow! This is really amazing. Now you can finally see where exactly your star-sign is, no wait, I'm thinking of astology....but seriously, DistantSuns is really cool, and the Seti @ Home plugin makes it even more interesting as you can see where the signal you are processing is from! Distant Suns has heaps of cool astronomical features, although it may not be suitable for the really serious astronomer... but still very, very cool!
