WinAStronomica generates sky maps at any time, past, present or future, from anywhere on the Earth. The maps show all the planets and stars visible to the naked eye, as well as some galaxies and nebulas, the Ecliptic and the Milky Way. Constellations are also drawn in their traditional form, and a table lists the most brilliant objects. Finally, WinAstronomica indicates the name of any celestial object underneath the cursor. Our Review: WinAstronomica shows constellations of the planets and stars from anywhere on the Earth and at any time. It could be very useful for both astronomical and astrological calculations since it offers many information supported by good graphics. Even beginners will be able to learn basics of astronomy. Planet orbits are represented by very good animation; you could change the time and planets will move in their orbits with information about lunar phases and some special events such as conjunctions. Very good program.
