Rest Your Eyes (RYE) will help to protect you from overwork, eye strain, and CRSI on the computer.
At the preset times, your computer will go into screen saver mode and you can take a break. The screen saver presentation can be random, but your default screen saver settings will be returned when you close the program.
Our Review: Rest Your Eyes seems to be primarily a health program. There are several of these floating around now. When at work, often you will find yourself working for hours on a particularly tough project, which is not too good for your health. Rest Your Eyes helps by scheduling you a break every so often (you set how much time you need), and then loading up your screen saver and putting on some music of your choice. You can take a break then. This prevents you from marathon computer usage sessions. When it kicks into the screen saver at the start of your break session, you can also have it load up other applications, such as backup utilities. It is highly customizable, and certainly something that most computer users should get a copy of.
