As most people, you have probably experienced this problem at one time
or another. The Explorer or Netscape Explorer were conceived for this
purpose, to help you copy one page at a time. But if the site consists
of 1000 pages, you'd have to click your mouse 1000 times and choose a
directory 1000 times when you save the file.
Now another option is available: using the new version of the Website
Extractor program. All you have to do is enter the address of the website
without having to worry about downloading it.
Our Review: Website Extractor does not have a very user-friendly interface - in fact it is in general very unintuitive and hard to navigate. However, once the basics are sorted out, Website Extractor turns out to be very useful. The best feature is the sorting of files, for example, you could download all files of type *.txt from a site, or *.exe. I also couldn't find the help file which is a shame because the abundance of features really do require some kind of instruction.
