KIPPING’s NetMan is a little tool for extracting links from Internet sites and downloading them in the background. With KIPPING’s NetMan it’s possible to download only the main-content of Internet sites (e.g. pictures, movies, sounds....). The program imports the actual page of a running Browser and analyses its content - extracts the links that match with the specified filetypes. It is also possible to follow the contained links up to an specified level. The advantage of KIPPING’s NetMan results in an big saving of Internet-connection-time and thus in a big saving of Internet-costs. No more clicking 50 times on the ‘Back’-Button of your Browser to save some pictures. No more downloading hundreds of thumbnail-pictures. KIPPING’s NetMan was first developed for users that collect pictures from the Internet - but its versatility and the permanent extension with new functions will make it to an powerful DownloadManager and Offline-Browser. The next versions will prove this! Our Review: Not so much an offline broswer as a site leecher that allows you to save everything off a Web Page. NetMan manages to save all the text, sounds and images off a site at a good and stable speed and is very, very easy to set up and use. Just go to the site in your browser, load up NetMan, and press import. It saves pages in their own folders to make accessing them later a breeze. Excellent if you don't have the time to view sites or want to strip all the images off a site to use yourself.
