HyperChat Suite is a simple yet powerful and user-friendly Client/Server Chat. You can either host your very own Chat by setting up a HyperChat Server or you can join any other HyperChat by simply connecting to a HyperChat Server somewhere on your LAN or the Internet. Our Review: HyperChat is a great small chatting suite that not only looks good but also works very well. Allows you to create a server where anyone with the client, including yourself, can log in to start chatting. An excellent feature: the server lets you create your own channels with passwords to invite people in. You also have the power to filter/kick people out as you wish. On the client side, menus on the side automate actions, email, send files, and even remotely execute. An excellent program which comes highly recommended to anyone wanting a chat client/server that's free, easy, small and effective.
