Restrictor
Restrictor provides selective Internet access based on an organization's Internet usage policy to the appropriate and tolerated Web sites. Restrictor is designed to either only allow access to specified Web sites by the administrator, or block prohibited ones. This includes list imports as well as domains such as generic, country, or domain names in general. The tamperproof Web access log and time management capability gives administrators additional features to enforce Internet usage policies. The cascading proxy enables flexible installation on stand-alone, as well as in various networked environments. Restrictor is thus ideal for use in publicly accessible systems, or in areas where access to the Web needs to be allowed or limited to selective Internet access. Our Review: Restrictor is essentially BizGuard without the dynamic checking. It allows the administrator to limit the time usage of the internet and prevent particular sites from being accessed.
