File Rogue
File Rogue is a new, free application that allows unrestricted file sharing across the Internet. File Rogue allows you to create a personal "Catalogue" of files that you wish to share with other members of the File Rogue Community. This list is uploaded to our "Global Catalogue" on the File Rogue Server whenever you launch the application. Users then can perform searches of the Global Catalogue, or browse through categories, and select the files they wish to download. File Rogue will revolutionize the way information is shared across the Web. File Rogue also features a built-in messaging service so that you can keep in touch with your friends on the Internet. Our Review: It seems the public demand for free stuff is neverending - here is yet another file-sharing application following in the footsteps of Napster. Like the other recent new contenders, File Rogue goes one better offering the ability to search for any file with any extension you want. While FileRogue is a newbie and as such has only a small user-base to draw from - it will most certainly grow and has the potential to compete with the the others in the new wave of sharing utilities such as BearShare and WinMX. With instant messaging, a neat 'Top 10 extensions' list, a superb tabbed search window and the smartest file-sharing interface available FileRogue is definitely one to watch. Recommended.
