WebZIP offers a fast and easy way to download, store and view Web sites offline. It lets you download complete Web sites, or choose settings for depth of retrieval, file-types, page and media locations and URL filters, to fine tune your site captures. Sites are stored on you local hard disk in their native HTML format, with the original file names and directory structure maintained to provide an exact mirror of the Web site. Using the new FAR add-in tool for WebZIP, you can compile your downloaded content to HTML-Help. With just a few clicks, you get a single compressed HTML-Help file, complete with: Table of Contents, Index, and Full-Text Search capabilities of your captured Web site. WebZIP also gives your the option of archiving your captured Webs to ZIP files. WebZIP is a great tool for archiving Web material for distribution, reference and offline reuse. Our Review: WebZIP can download and compress entire websites into an easily re-viewable ZIP archive. WebZIP has an internal Web browser and comes with good online help (but no local help files). The interface is so pleasant that you will find WebZIP indispensible for archiving online e-zines and discussion boards. Archived pages can be easily viewed locally and the progress of the webpage archive operation is displayed immaculately. Also includes support for scheduled webpage downloads and filters (to avoid downloading unwanted links or media content). This version introduces the new ability to create compressed HTML-Help files.
