The Tcp/Ip Accelerator uses protocol compression technology to speed up one's download connection. (It does not boost connection or upload speed) Our Review: Well, with this program running at 10X compression, I downloaded a 1.5mb file approximately 1 second faster than without it running. It doesn't do anything else. Draw your own conclusions. I think that this software attempts to compress the packets coming from the server, which then take less time to reach you. An interesting idea, maybe you should yourself and get better results that I did...
