Our Review: This product addresses a niche market - those users who are interested in registering a domain name (e.g.: paul.com). NameScanner will probe a domain name server with 'whois' commands to test your list of domain names that will would like to register. Possible names can be imported from text files and comprehensive filtering/pattern options allow close matches/alternatives to be searched for also. Logs of your search can be saved and detailed information about already registered pages can be obtained from the dns server. An excellent way to find the perfect personalised site name.
